Deleting a Department
1. When you first enter the Department option a Select A Department window will appear listing all departments.
- EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Department option and return to the Inventory menu.
- ADD – Select ADD to a department.
- PRINT LIST – Select PRINT LIST to print a list of departments defined in the system.

Scroll to the department that needs to be deleted
2. The data for that department will appear, along with command options:
- Change – Select Change to make changes to the department.
- Delete – Select Delete to delete the department.
- Update – Select Update to save changes
- Next Page - Select next page to move to the second page of the Department information
- Exit – Select Exit to exit without saving changes and return to the Select A Department window.
Select Delete. The department has now been deleted.
Note: You cannot delete a department if records associated with the department are found in the system history.
